Comparing Mainhatten and Manhatten
Task 3:
Compare "Mainhatten" with the Financial District of Manhatten (Differences, Similarities) and write a text about it.
Mainhatten and Manhatten
I have never heard the name "Mainhatten" up to now but I think there are many
similarities between our Mainhatten and the Manhatten in the Financial District in New York. Mainhatten is something like our Financial District in germany because Frankfurt in our Mainhatten is also called "City of Banks". We´ve got al lot of banks like the City bank or the European Central Bank. Mainhatten is not so big as the Manhattan in New York but both of them have the same task. Mainhattan has also a sculpture, a bear and and bull too, it stands near the stock exchange. At all Mainhatten and Mannhatten are nearly the same with the same tasks and important things but it gives a few differences between them.

Dialog between Chris and Claude after the Party
Chris: Morning Claude.
Claude: ...morning....
Chris: Do you want something to eat?
Claude: mhhh what do we have?
Chris: Not many the freezer is empty and we have no bread...
Claude: Okay I order us a pizza it´s already 12 o´clock
Chris: Yes that sounds good.... but tell me what did you do last night? You weren´t present at may party.
Claude: Ohhh yes of course I was out with Tobias in Chinatown so I had no time to come.
Chris: So tell me what have you done in Chinatown
Claude: It´s not important for you, it´s already enough that you know where I was....
Chris: Ohh come on, I´m your brother I wont tell it mum an dad.
Claude: Don´t you hear what I say?
Chris: okay okay I hear it, don´t be upset!
Claude: I go up to my room, call me when the pizza-guy brings the pizza...
Chris: Okay go away....

During the Christmas break White Mike and Alice, the girl whom he had run into, were walking down the beach in East Hampton and she told him a bit of her life.
When it become dark and cold she was going crazy and took all of her chlothes and ran into the ocean and coming out laughing and crying.

White Mike fell asleep with his book "The Plague" what he bought today on his chest and the light was still turn on. He dreams that he is on a high swanking skyscraper and it is very stormy and a dark night and then at last he falls down the skyscraper and lands on the roof of a car but he dosen´t wake up.

A new weapon
After the cokctail party Claude wants to go out and so he calls his freind Tobias to go out.
They both go to Chinatown and when Claude goes to the shop where he bought the weapons last night Tobias goes away. In the store the old wrinkled man close the door and takes out a specail weapon for Claude, an uzi.

Summer Memory
Because of a kid White Mike sells to he remind of the summer when he worked at a camp on the eastern tip of Long Island and the girl Alice he knows from the camp. After he comes out of his memory he buys a book in Barnes & Nobles about the Plague and later he reads in the new book of the death of the rats.

Chapter 34
The bells
Chris is watching TV when the delivery guys bring ten metall boxes. Chris opens the boxes and find bells inside and at the bells are names engraved. Then he rings the bells against each other for a few minutes until his arms were tired and then he sits in front of the television to kill the hours before he goes on a cocktail party.

Together with Molly
Tobias is talking with Molly. They talk about how hard it is to work as a model and then Tobias calls her in, into Claude´s house. Tobias and Molly going to see his piranhas because Molly says to him that she likes animals but this was a lie of her. He shows her a cool thing. He throws a cold chicken from the freezer into the aquarium with the piranhas and they eat the chicken complete in three secounds. Then she has to leave and Tobias invites her to come to open house in two days for new year´s eve and Sara says that she will com.

It is saturday and Tobias has a meeting with his model agency. He loves to be a model and after college he want´s to be a full time model and he cares all the fotos of himself in his leather-bound scrapbook. When his meeting was over he went out of the shooting and there was a beautiful girl.
The girl is called Molly she is a beautiful girl who´s is sixteen and also a model like Tobias.

He hadn´t enough money for the trip so he stole her mothers jewelry and sell it in a shop called Angela´s Pawn a shop with guns, so he also bought a gun there fore the money. When his mother realized that she called the insurance company but Charlie told his mother the story and after all he come in a boot camp in Montana for bad rich kids.

Down Laxington toward Ninety-first Street Jessica meets White Mike and his partner Lionel a creeply dude with blood shot eyes. Jessica bought five Baggies for one thausand dollar.

Some night in the past White Mike wakes up and poured himself a champagne flute of undiluted chanberry juice, this was his mother´s avorite drink. His mother said to Mike that he should always live the best life he can.
After Jessica hurys away and listen to a purple Discman, White Mike tells Lionel to tell his cousin Charlie that he is looking for him. Charlie is White Mikes cousin he lives for the most time in his life with nannies, he just use the house of his parents to make partys. Charlie isn´t a good student and after he changes school there was a distant between White Mike and him.
